The right tool for the job

Wow I tried removing the quick release fastener following the suggestions on the web. No luck, and soon I realized I was going to pinch or cut my hand. Ordered this tool and it arrived the next day. Quickly removed the old link and then added a new chain with a new quick link.

Works but not as reliable

Bought to block Shimano 11S connection. They are very difficult to block compared to a 10S link. Before this tool, I had to press the pedal very hard while the rear brake was on to lock it up. It's easy with this tool. I would like it stronger.

The simplest chain link pliers!

If you've ever played with chain link pliers like Park Tool's, you'll love this tool. One-hand operation for opening and closing quick couplings. It's also HALF the cost of Shimano calipers. and apparently made by the same company. Highly recommended!
