SuperMoss (23199) Preserved Reindeer Moss Bag, 8oz, Pink Review

The bag was half full, I bought a bag of a different color and the same size, so conspicuously conspicuous. The color was also dull and uneven. Not bright like advertised photo. To be honest the other bag (purple) was full and bright. Fingers crossed this is a full colorful bag. 🤞

Im impressed that the item finally arrived with no water damage. The water dries it out and causes it to crumble. I wasn't impressed with the price (doubled in 2 years) but I need it. Many reindeer mosses are now very expensive! The problem with this in the past was that holes were punched in the bag. Any moisture and goodbye product. I wish Supermoss came out with a fully sealed pouch (it's canned moss, not live moss) that won't burst under pressure so no holes needed.

I was expecting a bright pink moss look. Instead it turned out to be a dull, very faded and uneven pink moss. The pink dye isn't even the same in every piece of moss. Aside from being an awful shade of pink, one side of each piece has a darker version of awful pink and the other side has a lighter version of that awful pink. Whatever their dying process is, it's not working. Or maybe the moss is sun bleached. Not sure but very disappointed that the picture they post for pink is not what you get
