Always a hit in the pool. The municipal indoor swimming pool, where we go in winter, is the most used. Kids and adults love throwing them in the pool. When someone gets slapped in the face, it's not scary. The only thing wrong with them is that they are pretty much wasted after 3 or 4 hours of play. The foam inside no longer expands and the fabric sometimes tears. For the price it's worth the fun imo; however, one must be aware of the limitations.

For the price of four branded mudflaps I bought twelve mudflaps. Don't pay too much for them. They have noticeably less "filling" so they don't hold as much water (maybe just 1/3) despite being the same size as fenders. After using them once and drying them, they are noticeably wrinkled. It might be fun for a one-day pool party, but they won't last an entire summer.

We have only used the balls a few times and the foam seems to be falling apart. We have used them in the lake and in our home pool to keep the chlorine levels from getting too high. We love this type of beach ball but I'm a little disappointed they don't seem to last long. We have a couple of balls we bought years ago that are in better condition than these new ones and we have used them in a public pool with a much higher chlorine level.

They're pretty sturdy, they don't hurt if you hit your head (or face) but they make a HUGE funny wet splash. You have enough weight if you can make decent tosses and throws in the water. People complain that they aren't very durable, but I still didn't expect them to last long past summer and I suspect a super soft, spongy material that soaks up all the water and doesn't sting if it hits you - the reason for the fragility , so I appreciate what it's worth

We brought 3 of these balls to the hotel we were staying at and on the WALK TO THE POOL one of them was twisted and shaped like my 5 year old closed fists. After being thrown around the pool for about 5 minutes, they lost their shape and were like sponges when squeezed, except they didn't return to their natural shape. It was like scattering pieces of sponge. I will definitely look for other balls that will keep their shape. Wouldn't recommend this item to anyone.
