Moon looks cheap in packaging but looks great in wall lighting. We bought a universal adapter so it can stay plugged in and have the moon glow constantly without turning off after 20 minutes as others say on batteries. We use it as a timer at night - he has 15 minutes to read on his tablet after the lights go out, so we turn on the moon and when it goes out he knows it's time to do that to put the tablet away. I bought this for my 10 year old son for Christmas. The thing is so great! When I bought this, I didn't know you could program it to always sync with the real moon. Even a lunar eclipse.
