You're here for the nerds, aren't you?

So here's what I've used them for and they work great. Added in Sanyo (ACv2 AP for $50, use Aliexpress or AMZN -> Engenius 1250 3-pack) and swapped 2x 2.4g. can you hear me now Yes, and from much more distant places. If you're asking, this isn't the project for you. If you know what to ask? . yes worth it.

I was warned that Wi-Fi signals and radio control signals are very different frequencies.

The fact is that both use several frequencies within the 2.4 GHz bandwidth, so the problem will only be if the SWR of the antenna is too high and my transmitter warns about it, so I carefully tested one of the Both. I got the antenna on it and didn't get a bad SWR warning. It goes without saying that they work and might give better range as the original antenna only had 2dbi gain, it was a 12dbi gain so the signal should be essentially in the horizontal plane with a larger cone silence at the…

Reliable networking products

These are rugged antennas. The only reason I downgraded the stars is because the brass threaded connector is too thick to fit directly into my remote cameras. I had to bring my Bosch mini angle grinder with a diamond blade to fit the knurled end. See photos.

I don't think it's 12 dBi.

Wi-Fi antennas won't stay in place due to gravity. I got no more use than a 5dBi antenna. I'm not sure if it's really a 12dbi antenna as it's good for connecting to the nearest router nearby. Long range antennas should not be connected to nearby routers due to their frequency range.
