Yes the specs say the fittings are M14 and I wish I had seen that until I started assembly. Larger filters have 7/8" connections. Why not 500?

Works well for separating water and oil in my freeze dryer pump, bite you should use a replacement 500 series filter element, not a 2020 series as stated on the filter housing. A good copy of a Rancor filter of similar design. and much cheaper

Had to use a pipe wrench to remove the T-handle it was so tight. Had to use a hammer to knock the lid off; possibly stuck because the handle was overtightened or the paint was not dried. There is no label on the device. At first glance it appears to have been rebuilt; In the product description there is no reference to new goods. A piece of plastic on a bowl; must be disassembled and removed before use.

A kind of plastic ring dangles in the shell. I considered deleting it myself, but then decided it was an indicator of overall quality control, so I went back without using it. I opened the lid to look at a typical 10 micron filter. The T-handle was so tight I had to use a cheat to rotate it. I wasn't expecting Racor quality and was in the process of building a diesel polishing system but I still couldn't bring myself to trust it.

This was sent with a round orange ring in the bowl, looks like some sort of packaging. 2 bolts countersunk in the housing see fig. They are flush and have no space for a socket. I have an event with thin walls that don't fit. Unfortunately it's peak season so I'll have to try and walk with the package in the bowl or I would definitely return it and find that they wasted my time. It's hard to believe how stupid this is!
