Good protection but not perfect. It's a hold, but not a strong hold. I think the ones with feathers are better than just that rubber band.

My son got them for Christmas and although he doesn't use them all the time they seem to last the few times he's used them. It's too early to tell but they look good and appear to be durable.

My 6 year old son was starting to play hockey and I needed something to protect his skates. 5-year-old boys are tireless. You are very fat. I'm comfortable with them and use them to walk on the sidewalk. They are easy to resize and at a great price!

Well built, stays in place no matter what and really protects the blade. The only problem is that after walking on and off the ice in ONE DAY, my blades ate them up completely. The runner sits on part of the guard, but if you walk on it (I have 200lbs) the runner slips, exposing the blade from underneath and breaking through.
