Too bad it comes with screws. I was missing one and had to look around town to find a screw. I had to tighten it to match the screw holes. In general it works fine.

This handle fits but is significantly thinner than the original. You can also see from the photos that it's not round but rather oblong with a narrow part that makes direct contact with your hand. If I could have felt it before buying, I would have passed. I don't expect it to last long because it's a lot smaller than the original, but for the price I'll leave it.

This Magnesium 77 replacement handle is perfect. I got the exact model number from the saw and looked through several replacement parts that all looked the same until I found my model. Buying a replacement was a lot easier than fooling around trying to fix a broken one involving drilling, tapping, screwing and fastening, turning a 5 minute replacement into a week long project.
