💦 Superior Pump 94525: High-Performance 1/2 Hp Shallow Well Jet Pump with 24L Tank Review

Pump has been in service for several months, still works well but initially ran on the threads from the pump into the tank line so it is recommended to remove the line before installation and add pipe grease or teflon tape because the manufacturer didn't apply enough to the threads and the pipe wasn't taut.

The first one came with a broken pressure switch cover and a bent pressure adjustment screw. The replacement came with exactly the same damage; and the pressure adjustment screw is completely loose. That was enough for me; returned the money and bought another model.

Seems like a great setup but since they don't use two blocks of foam around the motor, the round tank and heavy motor on top they tip over and hit the side the box and then damage the relays/electrical contacts. Died twice on arrival. Decline and buy local. :)

First the pump worked for about 10 minutes, then the engine blocked. Has been returned. The second pump arrived in a badly damaged box, all shipping materials were damaged, the pump and motor were disconnected from the tank and the pressure switch was damaged beyond repair, this pump was returned, this time I asked for a refund not another pump. The original cost was $263.97, the amount I was reimbursed was $211.18. I feel like I got locked out because of someone else's mistake. Not very happy.
