Great for towing

I've owned these for about two months and have towed my 28ft camper multiple times when they were installed on my 2019 Ram 1500. This is of great importance. I'm more comfortable towing, especially in high winds and near trailers. However, driving is performed under normal driving conditions. My truck doesn't float like a Cadillac anymore, but it's a truck. It should not be. All in all a great product so far and I look forward to using it with no maintenance.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Protection

Works great, cheaper and cheaper than airbags

Included with these airbags. With a spacer it barely touches the axle. With my closed trailer, it doesn't sag at all. Without the same trailer, the 2019 Ram 1500 will sag about 3-4 inches. As a result, he jumps a little over big bumps. I plan on installing a wheel alignment kit that will raise the rear and front so I don't have to worry about it touching the axle. Some have installed with no spacers and will run like it did from the factory until you load the truck. So far they're working…

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Terrible ride with parts

I have a 2020 Ram 1500 with camper aluminum body and deceded storage. Combine them to add about 600 pounds. I was hoping this would help lighten the load and lift the truck while maintaining a comfortable ride. After installation, my truck returned to its original position, however, the ride was very poor. It was so smooth and bouncy that driving at 65-70 mph was dangerous and we got tired of the hopping. I do not recommend this for someone carrying a constant load or a lighter load. I'm sure…

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Communication with seller

The jury is still the best in Leaf Springs & Parts

Purchased for 2017 Ram Crew Laramie 4wd. I mounted them with spacers as directed. When lowering from the jacks, the sumo springs touched the axle of an unloaded truck. As soon as I tested it I knew the spacers would come out. He bounced back (pogo) at every bump. Completely unacceptable driving characteristics. I took it off, removed the gasket and put it back on. Unloaded travel is back to normal with 1 inch between sumo spring and axle. I haven't had a load yet. Installation was easy but…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Frequency

Great product and easy to install. Every Ram 1500 owner should have them!

If you drive a Ram 1500 with coil springs and plan to tow a trailer of any weight these are a must have. I love the Ram 1500 for how it drives unloaded as an everyday vehicle, but sometimes I tow it. By that I mean that from time to time I tow a dump trailer (3-4 meters of mulch or rock) or a car trailer weighing around 2-3 tons. Dimensions of my truck: Empty: 39 inches, loaded to 36 inches. I have a 2013 Laramie which may have less rear clearance than others, but I didn't use a 1" spacer as it

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
