If you drive a Ram 1500 with coil springs and plan to tow a trailer of any weight these are a must have. I love the Ram 1500 for how it drives unloaded as an everyday vehicle, but sometimes I tow it. By that I mean that from time to time I tow a dump trailer (3-4 meters of mulch or rock) or a car trailer weighing around 2-3 tons. Dimensions of my truck: Empty: 39 inches, loaded to 36 inches. I have a 2013 Laramie which may have less rear clearance than others, but I didn't use a 1" spacer as it almost touched the axle without it. Truck at 37 1/2" and drove like you weren't even pulling anything. I purposely drove on a bumpy, windy road and the trailer didn't sway and the bumps immediately softened and were dampened. Here's a setup trick like him is very tight and took about an hour and a half. Jack up the truck, secure it and install the top brackets with all the washers and nuts onto the bolts. Once you have all the nuts finger tight, use a small socket wrench and a 1/ 2" socket and pull each nut about half way out on the passenger side through the spring on the driver side just under the truck and rotate the entire assembly to tighten the next nut. After you have all 8 halves properly tightened you can reach more than half with the same socket wrench, there were two on the driver's side, I had to use a small wrench and tighten a Vi twisted and turned with each attempt and it was a little frustrating. But on the passenger side I was able to access them all with a small socket wrench and on two I used a large socket wrench and an extension to fit the wrench onto the muffler. In general, it wasn't difficult, just be patient. I'll check again in a week to make sure it's still tight, but these things are holding it up pretty well. Overall I am very satisfied with the product. UPDATE: I've had them for a few months and just had them towed my car from Ohio. Traveling with a trailer and a charger on this trailer was amazing thanks to SumoSprings. No rolling, no matter how rough the road, no major deflections, and the truck was straight. So these are worth the money.
