I've ridden about 300 miles on wheels so far. There's definitely an advantage when you're rolling over 18 mph. With carbon instead of aluminum wheels you can keep your speed longer. So far I'm happy with the wheels. I've been on bumpier roads, uphill and downhill, and so far they've held up. Although I will say that I am not a fan of the brakes. I've ridden them about 500 miles and had no problems. I switched from the original aluminum DT Swiss R460 to these and I would say they are a very different ride. This is my first set of carbon fiber wheels and I wish I had done this a long time ago. The carbon absorbs the road better for a smoother ride. I definitely feel faster as the hubs have a long swing.
