This color disc is a great addition to ANY science classroom. The vibrant colors are a fun and engaging way to teach students about optics and the science of light. The disc itself is well-made and durable for repeated use. It's a shame it doesn't come with more instructional material for educators to use in their lesson plans. .

later This disc showed my students very well that white light consists of all the colors of the rainbow. However, don't expect to go bright white no matter how fast you spin. It's definitely off-white. The gearbox design at the rear also needs improvement. The central screw holding the disc to the handle loosens with rotation and eventually loosens about a minute after rotation.
