🔩 SuperWhole Stainless Steel Threaded Nipple Fitting Review

The seller answered the question but did not change anything. either leaking or sprayed with Teflon tape and T+2 grease, more Teflon and Rectorseal Yellow 5 with no better results. Tried and succeeded on first try with brass fittings.

I bought 3 of these 1" MNPT nipples. All 3 leaked when installed (both ends). I checked the thread pitch and it turned out that the thread pitch was 11 and is not 11.5 It's frustrating having to re-install everything twice and with limited space Now that the various hardware is in place the system is finally fixed.

This fitting did not fit properly into a female compression fitting I had purchased so I decided To test with calibrated ring gauge 1" - 11 1/2 NPT. As can be seen in the photos, the nipple does not sit flush with the back of the ring gauge when screwed in by hand. In fact, it is more than 0.2 inches smaller than the measurement plane.
