I bought these for snowboarding and compared them to those sold at my local sporting goods store and they seemed so unreliable in comparison that I felt they lacked protection would offer. Returned.

The wrist guards themselves are good. They are supportive and have some mesh for flexibility and breathability. But the size is very small. I measured exactly according to the website and it's too tight. Order by size!

Bought these for my daughter to help her feel confident on a hoverboard when she first masters it. She loved them but never needed them, now she's a pro and wearing more than a nine year old fashion piece?!

If you buy them to protect yourself from falling injuries, they are too flexible and will not protect you! I bought Dakine snowboard wrist guards and they are way better than these. The brace is very flexible and if you were too far off I have a feeling it would just bend and you would still sprain or break your wrist.

I bought these wrist guards to wear when I started skating again. Great solid construction, very simple and easy to understand even though I held it upside down for the first half hour. They fit my wrist and hand well and add a little extra security for sports where you don't use your hands often, you're guaranteed to fall on them a lot.

I've had a bad wrist injury snowboarding in the past. I bought them for my kids. They are soft and flexible. They can protect you from scratches if you fall on a rock or pavement, but they certainly won't prevent your wrist/hand from bending backwards or forwards. DO NOT take it unless you plan to break your wrist or tear your ligaments. If you are looking for a comfortable, padded wrist bag, then they are comfortable.

I put them on to learn to skate again after 20 years off the ice. As I get older my balance isn't as good as it used to be and I'm afraid of falling. On my first day on the ice, I fell - on my back - and caught myself putting my hand behind my back. I was lucky not to break my wrist. Yesterday I put these wrist guards on for the first time and they are just what I need to protect my wrist in case it happens again. I'm a petite 5 foot woman and the small size is perfect for my thin gloves.
