Very easy installation, my trunk was popping. The trunk now opens effortlessly before it appeared the trunk had slammed shut. Spent more time uninstalling the old ones than installing this one, just press and it clicks into place.

This is amazing! I have 04 century for 4 years. The trunk was very heavy but stayed open until a few weeks ago. Then it continued to close. I ordered these and my husband said they were the best money we have spent in a long time. Installs in about 2 minutes. Thank you!

One of the devices broke in less than 90 days. I tried to contact the seller but got no response, BAD PRODUCT + BAD SELLER = GROUP. Stay away from this shit. Food can go bad, but once the vendor plays dead, it's time to stop giving them your hard-earned cash. 100% CRAPENZOLA

Pros: Still working after 1 week. Easy installation. Cons: Poor fit and finish. Refurbished with visible scratches and bluing to hide welds. Despite the still unknown life expectancy I can only give 2 stars because the seller tried to hide the true nature of the product from the full description. The scratches and repainting are poor attempts to hide the fact that this is a Chinese recycled product. Very clear traces of post-welding on the lifting rod.

They fit in about two minutes and do exactly what they're supposed to do: counteract the rather heavy weight of the trunk lid. I would warn anyone with one of those old Buick products not to try and hold the trunk lid by hand and buy a set. The weight of the cover can easily break an elderly person's arm or wrist, or even seriously injure their head when the car is parked on a sloping road or street. It costs three times as much.
