Good quality and products.

I'm glad I bought them. My girlfriend has been persuading me to change the hood pillars for a minute. Good price and just in time.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • A few little things

2002 Dodge Intrepid

Fits perfectly. I had to open the hood all the way to put them on. A little stiff at first but after a little use they loosen up quite a bit.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

if you need. Buy - Shocks, Struts & Suspension

I mean they sound and feel like they work. Even if they were bad. Better than my old ones because of the tree hitting my head with the hood. I can't even compress these, unlike the ones that were shot

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Plastic doesn't fit lift legs

The small plastic clips that slide down to hold the legs to the vehicle frame will gradually open which can result in the strut cracking and the hood slamming shut close. close when you close it. The second time, the clip was ripped from the strut as the cowl jammed it into a stud on the frame. I've tried securing this end with zip ties but to no avail. I do not recommend this design as it is unreliable and easily damaged.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

The junk retaining clip is plastic and allows the rack to pop out.

Unfortunately the returns window is closed or they will be returned. These gas struts are suitable for my car, but the plastic head does not stay on the stud. Almost every time I close the hood the strut pops out of its mount, maybe once in five it stays in place. The small plastic retainer that is supposed to secure the end of the bolt won't stay in place and will pop out, releasing the spacer. The original design was sturdier and had a metal clip, unfortunately they were plastic and unusable.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not the best
