Terrible experience.

Sophisticated design. Box unopened, no accessories. I had to assemble everything myself. The instructions were wrong for the screw sizes. Terrible experience.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Arrived on time, I would give it to him.

Arrived on time, I would have given it a A but the back pad doesn't match the shape of the hood over the side windows, had to add caulk to fill in the gaps, other things, It works well with the Surco UB53 crossbars.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Hard to say

great way to support a roof rack if you have a hard top

It was easy to install and works great to secure my Surco S5060 50x60 roof rack. Since then I've used the roof rack on a half dozen hikes and no problems. but it can move if it has a lot of weight on it and you drive off-road. So simply take a torque wrench (included) with you and loosen and tighten after each ride before the top is loaded again. Otherwise very easy to install and works great!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Pretty good for handling loads

Pretty good installation instructions came with all the screws I needed except for the front gutter bracket screws which were quite long but the screws aren't difficult to cut. I bought the Surco Urban Crossbars and they fit really well. All in all, it's better than spending $1,500 on a cage roof rack because I have a whistle. The rear bar that crosses the window has foam padding, but I put thicker padding in to stop some of the high-speed vibration.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things

The Surco system is really the only way to install a luggage rack on a hardtop without drilling holes. However, since the entire system is powered by the downforce of the entire bracket and rails that hold the post in place, you really need people working together to install it, and you need to have all the brackets and rails to do it to install. After assembling mine I noticed that one of the rear roof brackets was bent. It doesn't look like it was dropped or the bending is from some other…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
