Review on Jeep TJ Roof Rack Hard Top Adapter - Surco J500 by Jay Arnold

The Surco system is really the only way to install a luggage rack on a hardtop without drilling holes. However, since the entire system is powered by the downforce of the entire bracket and rails that hold the post in place, you really need people working together to install it, and you need to have all the brackets and rails to do it to install. After assembling mine I noticed that one of the rear roof brackets was bent. It doesn't look like it was dropped or the bending is from some other physical injury. It looks like it was welded unevenly. I think when you buy things from Amazon you have a chance to get a second quality product. I'll contact Surco and see what they do to replace it with a quality part but I need the rack next week to get the ladder to work so I might get stuck with that.
