Nice road bikes!

I bought these to practice outdoor roller derby after reading some reviews of the outdoor wheels provided. They catch the pebbles like a champ and are sticky enough that I can climb and ski down those monster hills with a lot more confidence. They're comfortable and quiet on smoother surfaces and not intimidating when the roads get rougher.

Pros
  • Hardness 78A - Suitable for outdoor use
Cons
  • Something else

Terrible quality of inline skate parts

After only 3 short sessions on inline skates these wheels were gnawed and damaged. My previous Pulse bikes with the same durometer of 78 are four years old without a single hole (as you can see in the right picture). The seller claims you can't use these wheels to stop - a basic roller skating technique known as T-Stop. This is unacceptable and makes no sense considering how long the Pulse wheels have lasted on the same track and tricks. Save your money and avoid those wheels.

Pros
  • Sold in packs of 8
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Sooo much better than Zen!

I used to have a Radar Zen (85A durometer) for outdoor riding and didn't think it was worth spending the money on an upgrade as they were fine. Holy shit, I was wrong! If you ride something harder on the road, do your knees a favor and switch. I doubled the distance the first time I used it (from 3 miles to 6 miles) and my joints ache less than shorter distances on stiffer wheels. For those who are interested, I've put them on just over 200 miles and they still look beautiful.

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Not the best

they continued to do well. They are made from high quality polyurethane.

I have been riding these bikes successfully for 2 years now. They've definitely gotten smaller over the years, but they still hold up great. They are made of high quality polyurethane and have withstood a lot of hardships while jumping; rough, rocky ground; and many, many, many power stops. Will definitely buy them again when I need them. If you are looking for outdoor wheels these are wheels that will last a VERY long time outdoors and I think the price of these wheels definitely reflectsโ€ฆ

Great buy for outdoor riding!

Firstly they arrived earlier than expected which was amazing. I bought my inline skates used and they had very tight and hard wheels with a derometer of 98. These wheels are designed for outdoor use, so they are softer. They made my trip smooth and easy. I didn't feel slowed down at all, which was amazing. I drove in parking lots, sidewalks and gutters. They persevered and it was the most fun street riding ever. At first I was chained to the basketball court with my '98 wheels, but I can goโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Size 65mm.
Cons
  • No automatic
