Very affordable and reliable

This indicator has been very accurate for me and repeats itself every time with no problems. I'm not sure about the standard sizes, but the mounting pins provided seem to fall between the holder sizes I have.

Cheap not cheap

The plastic "crystal" came loose in my hands when I first took it out of the box. Very lightweight molding/body. Feels more like plastic than metal. The evidence is patchy. The repeatability of the measured values is questionable. I don't think this gives accurate readings. Save money on a quality device.

. this is an apprentice machinist, and I made a silly mistake introducing a spindle at 1000m3, forgetting .

Love it, I'm an apprentice mechanic and made the stupid mistake of running the spindle at 1000m3, forgot the gauge was set and dropped it off the positioning lever. Thank god nobody got hurt and I got fired. Lost and damaged but a colleague found it. And it still works, the Chinese are some exceptional machinists, thanks to them for their tireless work and skill. I wish they had something better than what they lived with.
