Great for Atmos in surround sound systems

Fantastic sound. They're a little deeper than I expected, but that's ok. The mounts were a bit of an issue. I had to remove the felt from the bracket to make it fit, otherwise it would be too tight to fit the speaker in the bracket. Overall I am very happy with these speakers!

Fantastic sound for home audio

Great sound. Installed them just under the ceiling as front high presence speakers. Have another pair come tomorrow for the rear max. This kills my 7.2.4 system. These and 7 Definitive Tech speakers are connected to a Marantz SR8012 receiver. The sound of this combination is amazing. Saw Jack Ryan on Prime Video and he's in Dolby Atmos (at least on the Fire Cube). WOW, that just sounds so good. I can't wait for them to show up so I can have the full Dolby Atmos experience.

rocks like computer speakers in conjunction with a subwoofer

listening to empire brass by svs prime about 4 feet away like computer speakers about 2 feet away from me. They are driven by an Onkyo amplifier and an L12 rhythmic subwoofer to create a cozy sound field. The Onkyo has an optical signal that is converted from USB using a Reiyin USB to TOSLINK converter connected to my laptop. I can hear the cymbals clearly, as well as the distinctive Empire brass instruments. The pipes clearly meet with a lot of character.

Just unbelievable!

These SVS Prime Trebles are no joke, these speakers are really good quality. The sound is superior to anything in this price range. I've played with crossovers a lot and find that 120Hz sounds best. I placed them directly above my floorstanding speakers. Your setup was pretty good. I didn't need the included dowels, I just started and finished the holes with a screwdriver. If you have any doubts about buying them, just order them, you won't regret it. Dolby Atmos and DTS X really changed theโ€ฆ

Great alternative to ceiling speakers

I bought these about two months ago to replace my Pioneer Atmos modules and they have been well worth it. much more detailed than Pioneer Atmos modules. This is because atmos modules are primarily capable of effectively only reflecting sounds whose frequency exceeds 180 Hz. The result is overhead effects with less bass, which is crucial for sounds like overhead planes or mid-air explosions. EASIER TO INSTALL THAN CEILING SPEAKERS. VS gives you the ability to drill holes in your walls and mountโ€ฆ

Best speakers I've heard for Dolby Atmos

So I've been browsing home videos and reading speaker reviews for about a year now. And finally, I looked closely at these or clips. If you want to hear conversations or a sound above you, these details are for you. You can pair them with SVS Prime or Ultra speakers. I have to say that of all the speakers I've listened to, if you can't use overhead speakers I'd go for the SVS Ultra setup with towers, center and surround for ambience. Generally you want to mount them at front height high on theโ€ฆ

Great for immersive sound and great speaker

I personally run one of the Facebook home theater groups, Home Theater on Your Budget. I'm using a 9.2 Auro 3D setup, but also DTSX and Dolby Atmos as a 5.2.4 setup. Seeing the concerns and questions my members had regarding speaker placement requirements or simply needing an alternative to in-ceiling speakers, I contacted SVS to review these SVS HEIGHTS. So, after 45 days of testing in all immersive audio formats in my setup as well as uses other than regular speakers. They will be my nextโ€ฆ

Great Dolby Atmos speakers

I originally gave it 5 stars for durability but it's too early to tell. But the build quality is excellent. They look just as good as my old black and white rear, surround and center speakers that have been around for over 20 years. By the way, they fit pretty much exactly to these speakers. I like their smaller size but they still offer good sound volume. Based on my Marantz AV7703 setup, they are fairly efficient speakers compared to my other speakers, as at the end of the setup the volume of

Much better than reflective, though.

I used Pioneer Elite Dolby ATMOS speakers with an additional built-in speaker. Maybe it's the room layout, but I've never been impressed by the reflective nature of the upward-firing speakers. Oh, I could hear the speaker working if I leaned over and listened directly to the speaker. I just didn't get any space fill or overlay effects. After installing the SVS Prime Elevation speakers, I now know what Dolby ATMOS is. I lined up my ceiling-side pair with the two fronts and moved "forward" aโ€ฆ
