It's great for what it is, but don't step on it.

I like that it's bright orange so find it in the store. I don't like that the markings are hard to read. It breaks if you step on it, but in that case it's worth buying another one.

  • Worthy performance
Cons

space saving good for carpenter's square

combination of quick square and torpedo spirit level means one item less in my tool bag. Because the level is part of a square, it can test horizontal, vertical, or 45-degree angles for alignment, just like a regular torpedo level. One downside I found is that it's plastic and can break.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • compatibility

Works great as a saw guide

Best Speedsquare. I like the thickness, especially the edges of the base. I often use the SpeedSquare as a guide bar for chop saws and it's easy to hold in place and its thickness better matches my SKILsaw's base plate.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

saves space on measuring and marking tools

The combination of speed square and torpedo plane means one less item in my tool bag. Because the level is part of a square, it can test horizontal, vertical, or 45-degree angles for alignment, just like a regular torpedo level. One downside I found is that it's plastic and can break.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Again I thought it was a metal square but it's flimsy plastic

So apart from the fact that it's a bit misleading as it looks like a heavy metal tool and you're this lightweight piece of plastic to get . However, if you agree with the plastic then it's a great value and I'm sure it will work for most jobs.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than the others
