I ordered the 'blue' shorts a small size (I usually wear XS or 0 in US sizes) because the description said they were half an inch longer than size XS were. and I didn't want them to be too short. Very happy with my choice as the elastic makes them perfect. The material is very comfortable, like 100% cotton. I'm happy to wear them!

Large waist size 28.3-46.5 inches is correct but at 38 inches my waist is a bit squeezed by the elastic so I wouldn't dare to buy a big one, if your waist it is wider than mine. My hips measure 42 inches and I have no problem fitting there! Anyway, the baggy shorts really help hide my tummy! I usually wear a size 14 high waist jeans. I was very nervous because according to the size chart I had to be closer to XL, although I usually wear jeans between M/L and size 10.
