I'm tired of paying $1.50 every time I need water. I ordered two of these bottles so I always have one on hand. Large opening for large ice cubes. The top is safe and leakproof. Nylon carrying strap is practical. Light weight which is both good and bad - less weight to carry but I wouldn't drop them too often.

I really want a bottle with no "plastic taste" when I drink water from it. Unfortunately, it has the same plastic taste as the water bottle I can buy for a few bucks. I give 3 stars because I really like the design and the color. I won't be using it until I find a replacement. I've avoided switching to glass due to the weight and brittleness, but I will as I can't stand the taste of plastic anymore.

The water bottle is fine. The upper is overly complex and difficult to clean, and the textile strap is just a bad idea for something that gets regularly submerged and needs an occasional wash. And I have to ask. Why does a device designed to retain water need a giant bag of silica before shipping? Are you afraid of getting wet inside? I don't think much thought was put into the design of the bottle or its packaging.

I have a dry mouth caused by medication I have to take daily. Because of this, I drink a lot of water and have spilled glasses on or near my laptop, cell phone, and other electronics on a number of occasions. Not good and since I can't keep drinking while I'm at work I needed an airtight bottle to hold water and also easy to open and close. Ever since Thermos redesigned the inlet bottle cap, I've been looking for a replacement. It's close, but not close enough. I like that the lid can be closed and opened with one click. I also like the overall impression. The biggest drawback, however, is that the drinking spout only has an inner diameter of 3/8 inch. That means you can only drink water. I figured I might leave that to my kid (who still prefers straws) but then I tried taking it apart to wash it the first time. Well-made, durable

I love the cap that stays on the bottle while drinking. Dishwasher safe - a great feature, although I accidentally turned on the heat dryer and dropped the ribbon on it and melted half of it. But the strap is still usable, just badly worn. Another issue I had was that the hinge on the lid locking mechanism is a bit loose. That means it uses a pin to hold the mechanism in place. Very functional! Two things I would change about it: make the strap removable because if I darn it, wash it etc and the strap gets wet it needs time to dry. So if I frantically fill it up and then toss it in my work bag with my papers, it will also wet everything around it.
