Died 2 Months Later

I was so excited to be able to add music to my swim workout. The player is very light and can easily be attached to the back of your glasses or swimsuit. I found it easy to use and easy to upload music to it. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the headphones to stay in my ears while swimming, no matter what I did. Inevitably, after the first lap or corner, I lost one or both headphones. I spent a lot of time putting them back, rearranging them, etc. I ended up only using them for running because…

What are you waiting for?!?

I've tried several waterproof MP3 players and this is the best. Even with wet hands I can easily control it in the pool. It easily attaches to my glasses and is easy to adjust even when I can't see it. The headphones sit perfectly in the ears and do not hurt during long swims. The sound quality is excellent. The deep bass is a nice annoyance and now I can really enjoy my son. Don't hesitate to buy them, they are worth every penny! I have tried several waterproof MP3 players and this is the…

DO NOT buy this! THIS WILL BREAK!

I asked the seller if I could return it and they said yes but before I could. the damn thing fell apart. LITERALLY. Which challenges the idea that it should be "waterproof". The first photo shows the player's MAIN error. The face falls off. Previously, the buttons didn't always do the job I pressed on them. Half useless when you add this to the fact that the button bar itself falls off rendering it useless. The second photo is an MP3 player that Speedo made many, many moons ago. They don't even

Great product for portable audio and video devices

My daughter bought this underwater mp3 player. I have had an underwater iPod for over five years but they no longer make it. So I chose this player mainly because of the price. Although she's only used them a few times, there are a few great things to note: First, the headphones have a short cord (saves time and clutter compared to the longer cord that has to be wrapped around the temples of the glasses), the Buttons are easy to press. Click to navigate through the songs. Downloading music was…

Great price for a trustworthy performer. NO LONGER.

I am updating my rather glowing 5 star review. My device has been locked in random/random mode. never mind I only swim What turned out to be a HUGE deal is that he will only play 4-6 songs. No matter how much I delete, insert other songs, reboot. Nothing. He randomly picked 4-6 songs he liked and just kept playing them. AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. Press FWD - SAME TITLE. FWD - SAME SONG. FWD again - a new song, just one of the same 4-6 songs. Same for reverse gear. Tried draining the battery. I…

Satisfied: Better design than Waterfi

I swim 3 days a week and use a WaterFi iPod until it was stolen and needed a replacement. While I was happy with the Waterfi, I decided to try the SYRYN mainly because it was 1/4 the price of the WaterFi iPod. After 2 sessions I am very satisfied with the product. All 4 bars, flip turns and even starts are no problem. While the iPod is notorious for tipping over when moved quickly, the Syryn stayed in place, likely due to the clip's design. The Syryn is larger and doesn't look as sleek, but…

SYRYN has a customer for life if they keep up the good work!

I have been a regular lap swimmer for over 15 years (also former US Navy). At least I go to the pool twice a week for 35 laps or more. Prior to purchasing SYRYN I had a first generation NuDolphin (purchased circa 2005) which broke down and died about a month ago so I'm not new to MP3 waterproofing and what to expect from them. SYRYN and Swimbuds far exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is as optimal as I could have hoped for and is exceptional for the price. The instruction manual was…

Surprisingly good and still going strong after over a year

EDIT5: 18 months and finally the problems start. The buttons no longer respond to presses, at which point it's pretty much hit or miss turning it on or off or adjusting the volume etc. Once turned on it works well and the sound is as good as it was on day one. . The battery still easily lasts a week and the ease of drag-and-drop when transferring files. I got myself another MP3 player to try and it sets a pretty high bar to cope with the workings of my Syryn. I would still recommend this item…
