What a fantastic idea!

A really great idea - especially for the kids at camp who need sun protection but also need to be able to safely remove their rash guards. I can buy one myself - it'll pay for itself in sunscreen savings alone.

Pros
  • Helps reduce the need for overuse of sunscreen
Cons
  • Cannot be worn with some types of swim gear.

Just like the front zip

Bought this for my slim 7 year old grandson. Great fit. The sleeves are loose and the body is fitted. Easy on and off with front zip.

Pros
  • Can be worn alone or under clothing.
Cons
  • Can look awkward or unflattering

This summer my baby will be great

Cute little bathing suit. This summer my baby will be great. A front-zip rashguard is a lot easier than trying to pull a wet shirt over your head.

Pros
  • The PERFECT rashguard for a big-headed toddler!
Cons
  • May not be available in all sizes.

Covered zipper in my review.

Nothing to know except that there is a pocket at the top of the zip where you can hide it so that the child does not poke inside when the zip is fully closed.

Pros
  • This rashguard was big but very good quality so I left it for next year.
Cons
  • Cannot be machine washed

Very cheap! Don't buy this!

Bought and tossed in washing machine same day to wash before wearing for my 10 month old. When taking it out to air dry the zipper had already broken off which isn't a big deal but disappointing. I wore it to the beach and when my son wore it the zipper at the bottom broke preventing me from unzipping it to take off. It's so cheap I'm very disappointed as we were really hoping to get it for our beach holiday.

Pros
  • Comfortable to wear all day
Cons
  • Cannot be worn with some styles of swimwear.

I love lightning! to my rating.

I always look for zip up rash guards as my son hates putting them on over his head. I just wish they stocked more colors and sizes. Good quality.

Pros
  • A UPF 50+ rating ensures the product blocks up to 98% of UV rays.
Cons
  • Dressing and undressing can be difficult

Great quality and fit!

I have several other rash guards but they don't have a zip feature and I have to say it's a really good feature! Significantly less effort when boarding and alighting. One downside to the zipper is that it kind of folds up at the top, but that doesn't matter. Maybe he's a bit big? Anyway the size 12-18 seemed to fit my 13 month old with room for growth. His Measurements (Height: 31 inches, Chest: 20 inches, Weight: 24 pounds)

Pros
  • Boys
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Nice and comfortable rashguard

I bought the size 18-24m for 16 months. He usually wears t-shirts that size. It's a bit big in width but it's thinner so I'm not really surprised. The length is perfect as he is tall too. The orange color is nice and bright so it's easier for me to follow but not nasty. The zipper works well and the material is soft. Definitely recommend and will buy more if this one lasts. ***Update: I washed it once and the paint on the zipper is peeling. It's okay, but it makes you think about the durability

Pros
  • Clothing
Cons
  • I have doubts

Nice sunny yellow color and pretty good quality for .

We ordered the 6-8 Yellow SwimZip Baby Boy Rashguard for our 6 year old son (48 inches, 40 pounds). He swam in it (too long, too big, too much space everywhere). So we asked our 8 year old daughter to wear it (she is 53 inches, 60lbs) and it fit well and had plenty of room to grow (please note it was not skinny or form fitting, the cut is not girly and the zipper is closed). wrong side for a girl, but it suits our purpose of just playing billiards). There are no places exhausted by lightning…

Pros
  • Swim
Cons
  • Long Shipping
