NG (Not Good) in Motorcycle & Powersports

Low Rating. This will NOT fit the 2003 VLX 600 Shadow. The shifting is incorrect and the shaft does not fit the Shadow grip. I really have to send it back. I am sorry.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Crumpled

The clasp is put on the collar

You cannot tighten the part on the tank because the clasp slides over the collar. The collar should be wider. It's not worth figuring out after you've rebuilt your rig.

Pros
  • The delivery was very fast
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others

Almost fits parts

This doesn't quite match my 04 Shadow VLX. I had to do some minor technical work to get it working. Although for the price it was worth it. Once connected it works perfectly so overall a good buy at a really good price.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Damaged

Half piece Best-in-Parts

Great product. If you only need half of the part. Sent the faucet complete but with no handle or screw to actually operate the faucet. It's like buying a gun without a trigger. I would definitely look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Available in white only

Fuel leakage after proper installation and therefore deadly.

Extremely poor quality. Had to change drive handle to fit. Installs and flows at the slightest touch of the handle when you turn on the fuel. By the way, I've been a motorcycle mechanic for 50 years. This product is undesirable and DANGEROUS.

Pros
  • One-year trial version
Cons
  • So far so good

Will not properly fit 2001 Honda Shadow VLX600

It says the 1988-2007 Honda Shadow VLX600 is compatible but that is incorrect. If you have a standard chrome faucet handle it will not fit this faucet without major modifications. You will need to cut at least 1/4 inch from the end of the handle for it to fit. has a raised square, meaning the round area on the stick handle rests against the faucet assembly, preventing the recessed square area from reaching the raised square area.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Not exact replacement but fittable for 2000 Honda Shadow VLX

I ordered this for a 2000 VLX CD600CD2Y. This nomenclature matches the advertised fit info "VT600 VLX600 Shadow Deluxe 88-07". The item does not fit. I was able to assemble it by sawing off the square metal post that the plastic valve control key is attached to. Also, the square post is raised a few millimeters from the body of the OEM part, so it was necessary to remove the (OEM) portion of the plastic valve cotter to get it to seat properly around the square post. These are minor differences…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive
