This is an exact genuine replacement part for the ceiling fan switch. It was easy to replace as it is identical. That being said, it's possible some other fans are using other switches, but I haven't seen them.

I thought I would have to replace the ceiling fans because 3 of them broke the pull switches. On a whim I checked Revain to see if the switches were available and to my surprise they were. Easy to change and much cheaper than replacing a fan. Good price!

We ordered these as spares because we just moved into a new house with five ceiling fans. One in the bedroom is starting to have problems so we plan on replacing it this weekend as we just found all our tools after moving in. They appear to be solid replacement parts. We took them out of the bag and examined them carefully. I will update the review once we have actually replaced the part.
