Very good quality rolls.

These are very high-quality castors. heavy metal stampings, lubricated ball bearings. The wheels are of good quality, soft enough not to make noise but not so soft that they mark or roll heavily under load. I've bought 4 or 5 sets over the past few years and keep coming back to these lightweight reels because they work so well.

Pros
  • Ideal for the silent and safe transport of light furniture and showcases
Cons
  • old

They work great and it was what I was looking for

I was looking for wheels that would not damage my newly installed hardwood floor and here it is. .They spin freely and rotate as they should. I had to put my own screws in but that wasn't a problem, they work great and that's exactly what I was looking for. You can't go wrong buying them

Pros
  • 110lb capacity
Cons
  • Legacy model

Ikea retrofit best in casters

I used these non-marking casters to replace casters on Ikea ALEX. The stems of the original flexed during movement. These 2 inch rolls are nearly identical in overall height and look much bulkier. The diagonal mounting slots could accommodate the original mounting holes, which was a plus. They also work well if you want to use ALEX (or maybe a lot of IKEA furniture on wheels) on a wooden floor. One star deducted because the bearings on some of them were quite sticky. They all spin well.

Pros
  • Can be rotated 360 degrees
Cons
  • Not sure
