This card was recognized immediately by Windows XP and is working as expected. This was for my old Gateway computer that only had two USB 2.0 ports. It's nice to have a few more USB 2.0 ports. Purchased specifically to add USB 2.0 ports to a PPC G4 MDD case I bought two weeks ago. The system only had two USB 1.1 ports on the tower and two as part of the hub on the ADC monitor. Using a Wireless-N WiFi USB adapter, I only got 3.5 Mbps download speeds and found that the USB speed was the limiting factor. And I was right!
