Check for old seal

I was trying to fit this to my 2007 Dodge Ram without removing the headlight. I couldn't really see it, but I pulled out the old one and the new one didn't fit in the case. Headlight removed and the old bulb seal was still attached to the housing. I removed the old gasket, the new bulb just went in, works great. In fact, pulling out the headlight only took about 5 minutes.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Functionality

Those were the answers.

I had a car with old headlight bulbs that still worked but were weak. I replaced the bulbs with these XtraVision bulbs in the hope that I could see better. I was not disappointed. I love these Sylvania XtraVision lamps and recommend them to my friends. These H11 bulbs were for my friend's 2013 F150. He thought he needed a whole new kind of lighting, but this was the answer.

Pros
  • Made from a verified light source OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
Cons
  • Can't remember

Upgrading my old headlights

My old headlights (11 year Escape) were fine but looked less bright and more yellow than many new cars on the road. I have used the same tubes in a previous Escape 2008 with good results. Improved night distance, brighter lighting and brighter appearance. Good value compared to local car dealerships. I think prices are higher locally because it's "I need it NOW" when a headlight burns out. Plan ahead, get a set and put it in the trunk. You'll save money and be prepared when your headlight bulb…

Pros
  • Better visibility on the road with no added glare
Cons
  • High price

SYLVANIA H13 XtraVision halogen bulb

. a month and they're still working. If it wasn't for them I would be pissed! Easy to install, not great. If you follow the manufacturer's instructions, you will have to dismantle the entire nose of the car. There are "tags" on YouTube, but you have to crawl under the car to remove part of the lower trim and wheel arch. It's not Sylvania's fault, it's just that the car (and most others) is designed that way. .But if you can get under the car and understand a little about mechanics, you can save

Cons
  • Not fashionable

Much more brightness from these new bulbs, no Silverstars required.

It was an excellent expense at $16. I have a mid-2000's SUV with complex reflector headlights and clear lenses. I also have fog lights in the bumper. My headlights worked perfectly. But it was a used car and I had no way of knowing how old the headlight bulbs were. I also noticed that when driving at night, my fog lights were brighter than my headlights. On the other hand, I'm the kind of idiot who will manually adjust my own headlights from the factory settings so I can actually see the road…

Pros
  • More mileage than regular bulbs
Cons
  • Vulgarity
