Symak K0468 Plastic Spaghetti Measure Review

I specifically ordered this spaghetti by size because the description said it was plastic. I have a metal one instead. Dissatisfied.

I'm tired of overestimating the amount of spaghetti it takes to cook. We always had plenty left over. That's not the ticket. Last time I used the portion marked "2" and it served 4-5 people!

Bought to control portions for my husband and I but the amount for 2 people was huge. Next time I will try the 1 person portion size for my husband and I. No issues with durability or ease of cleaning.

I always cook too much spaghetti so I bought this serving guide. Unfortunately when I actually used it I looked into the pot and thought it wasn't enough so I added more. Big mistake - too much spaghetti again. Trust the leader!

I've looked everywhere for it. It's amazing how few of these are in stores! The only thing I would change about the design is the serving size numbers. I would add an ounce more. For those interested - for spaghetti standard length ounces (1-4): 2 ounces, 4 ounces, 8 ounces and 16 ounces. I measured and weighed them, I assure you.

Love this thing. I used to either not make enough spaghetti or make enough for an army. Never the exact amount I owe. With this simple little thing, I can now estimate how much spaghetti to cook and it keeps me from overdoing it or not getting enough. It's made of durable plastic and is better than I expected.

I taught my teenage daughter how to cook and she is very proud that she learned how to cook spaghetti. However, none of us were able to figure out the right portion size for the number of guests. I've looked everywhere for one in stores and haven't found anything. The only ones I met online wanted more than $12, which is just ridiculous. It serves its purpose and even hangs on the hooks we use for our measuring spoons, so it's very handy.
