I just received them and they are non-refundable. They look cheap (looks like they break very easily), don't fit on our towel rail and don't even hold a towel. Waste of money, in the trash.

Love them - I've had them for over 3 months now and they've really taken a beating. Use them every day in Itoshima, Japan when I hand wash and hang clothes to dry. A typical load of laundry started at $12.

What I received is NOTHING like the photo. In the photo, the hook portion is larger and more open where it could potentially fit over the towel rail. The ones I received have a very small hook hole and diameter, so they don't fit my purpose at all. See photo. They could be attached to a fishing line or rope, that's all.

I've used them 4 times and only 3 or 4 didn't break. I bought this three years ago, everything is fine. I thought I would buy the same product but they are terrible. They are so weak that either the hook will snap or the spring part will snap in half. I use them to display my oven mitts at craft markets, so it doesn't look like I'll be using them for anything heavy.

They have a tiny spring mechanism that glues to the hooks. After a while, the glue breaks down and they fly apart, launching the tiny feather several feet into the air, making them almost impossible to spot (read: dangerous for children, animals, and vacuum cleaners). They are so hard to find in stores that I was relieved to find them online. I always carry it in my suitcase when I travel. We use them in the shower to dry our shaggy washcloths clean and light. I have to be weird compared to some reviews. I find these coat hooks perfect for many purposes. I keep them in the shower so towels and rags can be hung out to dry after the shower. You have never let me down. I use them to hang things that I hand wash, they are perfect with no rough edges and are holding up great.
