📷 Enhanced Symbol LS2208 Barcode Scanner: Cable and Stand Included Review

I have this to match my square base. No problem. He hooked it up to the stand and he recognized it. It reads all my boxes or jars with barcodes. I have a program and now I print other price tags with barcodes. It was painful at first, but it definitely speeds up the time at the checkout! Ideal for small businesses. And I'm a farm shop. Customers are delighted!

We bought these for our new software for our company. One recently stopped working. The product is under warranty. Can't get anyone to REALLY help with this. Talking to Revain support is a waste of time. I just want to replace the item. year warranty. Because we source through Revain, manufacturing forces us to do everything through Revain. Bought this to work with my retail books. He didn't read the ISBN numbers and cut them off. So I went to Zebra and downloaded a program to tweak what it reads and it stopped working at all. So I went to support and can't find the serial number and then it needs the model number. Not even that. LS2208 is not a model number. I don't know if I got a bad one or it's fake but mine doesn't work!

This article does not work. I called the manufacturers. They have no record of the product serial number. According to the manufacturer, it is a stolen product. Talked to Raven. According to Revane, it was shipped from China. I will never buy this product from Revain. This created bad taste for Revain. Revain must take responsibility and not sell products from unreliable sellers. I am extremely disappointed.

Said no download required. Just plug in the scanner and use it. Bought 3 for work and none worked properly. The first had a bad cable, the second worked on one of our laptops, but when connected to our desktop it stopped scanning altogether. I didn't even open the 3rd. When I called the company for IT help, they said they were sold by a third party, even though they said they were sold by the company. First time Revain has let me down on a product.

This is an industrial grade scanner manufactured by Symbol (Motorola). The online documentation is HUGE (400+ pages). The one I received was used but you can't tell - there are no obvious signs of wear. Using the quick reference documentation I was able to reset the device to the default settings and then set it up to send a carriage return and line feed after the scanned data. That's old-fashioned. I tested a cheaper alternative, but employees have complained about the scan's performance. I use this scanner for Quickbooks POS 2013/V11. They are small computers that can be programmed to do many things.
