Great little adapters for charging. Not intended for data transmission.

Small and dainty, these adapters do exactly what they say... and that's the catch. While these tiny adapters are great for charging, they are limited by USB 2.0 data transfer rates. So I'm not sure how much utility I'll get from them on a regular basis, but they'll still come in handy in a deadlock. However, as always I love the space gray color and as they are so small and light they are barely visible at the end of a cord or in the pocket of a computer bag and it's nice to know they have myโ€ฆ

A must-have for your cable set

If you're like me, you have a lot of devices that use traditional connectors (USB-A) and compact USB-C (or Thunderbolt 3). I bought a set of USB-C to USB-3 adapters from Syntech and found them to be invaluable. Then I encountered the opposite problem - I had a portable drive with a USB-C connector, but I needed to connect it to a laptop with a traditional USB-A connection. This adapter was perfect! To test both, I used two adapters together to connect the drive to the USB-C part. That's right -

๐Ÿ“ฒ Better Than Expected

This is great and at a great price. I can't tell you how long they'll last because I've only had them a week, but so far they're working well with no loose parts. Many adapters like this have flimsy USB connectors. ports, but they feel solid and tight. I've tried them in USB power strips, car chargers, and wall chargers, and they've all worked flawlessly. I appreciate the fact that it supports fast charging, PD (Power Delivery) and Qualcomm IQ, although PD is the de facto standard forโ€ฆ
