Good system but expensive

For the price I would have expected at least fuses but no. It comes with one in a free slot, but god forbid you don't have a Phillips screwdriver when you need it, and that's useless too. In the end, it really cleaned up my system and added some handy security features.

Order more jumpers if you need more than 2 for the circuits

Just installed this yesterday to replace an old 6 circuit box that was using glass fuses that were going through 10 summers corroded in the sea were water on the boat. The STO or STC fuses are used here. Looks good and 6 separate circuits can be configured to power 1 to 6. It comes with 2 jumper clips, so plan your circuits ahead and order PN 9217 at the same time if you need more. Directions are very clear.

Pros
  • Switches, Load Centers & Fuses
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

I have switches and fuses for everything and need independent circuit protection for this part of my 85 M1009 (aka K5 Blazer). This Blue Sea product fits perfectly. I have an electrical junction box (6) with two independent 40A circuits (3) that switch on each main fuse. I used a fuse box to protect any circuit that disconnects 12 volt loads. The 12V supply leaves the switch at power-up, through the fuse box to the load, and finally to ground. This way I can choose the fuse size for each…
