They are sharp but have been scratched and appeared tarnished upon arrival. Still workable, but the optics just make them look gross.

These amazing things. I work in a developing country and it's hard to get good quality stuff. These scissors have an amazing weight, thanks to which they are simply a pleasure to use. Now that I have these things, I literally find things to cut when I can.

First off, seller JW Rodgers delivered this product well ahead of the promised date. I didn't expect it before Christmas and it arrived two days before! Now to the scissors: very well made and very heavy. I bought them for the "depth of cut" and was surprised at how big they are. These are fairly heavy scissors so be prepared for the weight. The spirit of the great Caesar! These things are huge! Separate the scissors and you have two little swords! My wife just looked at the picture and ordered them not knowing they are probably illegal in some countries. Glad we're in Texas. The markings on them say they were made in Pakistan, they look like they have been hand sharpened with precision and I can vouch for them being very sharp and top quality.
