I saw a home defense bat and good ratings and thought - why not. Basically it's a bat. I squeezed it between my thumb and forefinger - literally just squeezing to appreciate how cheap it is - let's say I used to be a powerlifter, but for a racquet it's still an embarrassingly cheap design.

Sorry but how can this flimsy racquet get such dents after just hitting the ball?! After an hour in the park, my kids came home with a bat that was completely dented. I will say that the only star of this review is that it is bat shaped and has "BAT" written on it in case anyone gets confused by the poor quality. It's funny that the description says it's for yourself. -Protection as it's as pitiful a failure as a real bat.

There were about 30 dents from the first use. enough to render it useless afterwards. Needless to say, its second and final use was to take up space in a dumpster. for benefit. I bought this bat on June 14th and used it for the first time yesterday (July 6th). I was at the playground with my daughter and in the first hour her teeth were dented. not to mention the fact that a 7 year old girl was playing.
