piss off! - Cookware

I ordered these pans about a month ago when I moved to a new apartment. After finally fully settling in, I used them twice and there are white stains on the bottom of each of the pots and pans after the dawn wash and in the water (looks like the bottom is covered in sandpaper!). Terrible! I am very disappointed! This is the worst purchase ever and I have never had a problem with TFAL pots. These are probably fake Revain brands, otherwise I probably got a bad set! Too bad I didn't spend my money

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Some little things

T-Fal Going Downhill

Ordered this set because my current T-Fal finally lost its non-stick coating after 2.5 years. This was my last set of pots and pans so I decided it was time to invest in a set. The first set has arrived. White, almost bleached spots all over the inner surface of the brazier. Frying pan scratched. skillet chips. For $85 at the time of purchase, I want something that will last. replacement issued. The second set has arrived. This time he didn't even hit the T-Fal box. Simply stuffed into a normal

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Updates available

cheap set descending quality

I am always wary of teflon coated cookware as the coating will peel off over time, no matter the quality, price or how carefully and conscientiously you follow the manufacturer's instructions. It's inevitable, and with some research and studies showing it's not good for you, I really doubt it. However, for me the end justifies the means. I'd rather use a small amount of Teflon over time than a lot of oil and grease every day. The non-stick coating is just one of those things that come in veryโ€ฆ

Must buy for electric/induction stove

All these stone ceramic pots are always heated with electricity and do not respond to induction stoves. A small amount of water test blew it off. Set both electric surfaces to high power and the T fal will boil/evaporate water before the stone pot can even get hot. which means โฌ‡๏ธโฌ‡๏ธโฌ‡๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฒ๐Ÿ’ฒ๐Ÿ’ฒ wasted money on the electricity bill. I'll update this comment once next month's electric bills come in and I know I'll see a noticeable difference from all the cooking I do in eggs in a pan every morningโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Finally bought

Ideal for chefs who are picky about their cookware!

My wife and I love to cook and are quite rough with our dishes. Our latest pots and pans looked as if they had barely survived the Battle of the Bulge. So we were looking for something that was durable, looked good, had a non-stick coating and would last a long time. After checking out some ridiculously priced sets at places like Williams and Sonoma (anyone want a $2500 cookware set?), we decided to research Revain. This set had great reviews and the Expert set was reasonably priced at $65. Weโ€ฆ
