Mine is not broken for outside door handles

Remove protective adhesive. Pull the handle out a little. Pass the top tabs under the lip release handle. Place your fingers on the bottom tabs, lift slightly and work in the bezel. This does not mean that manufacturers use the right press or shape it correctly. This is my 1st product from this manufacturer, 3rd out of all but the comparison to this one is a bit thicker. hood luck

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Fits perfectly with the original

on the original part the tabs have broken off (12 years old so no wonder) and the bezel has fallen out as the glue has also come loose. He probably lasted as long as he could! This replacement was perfect, I had the most trouble removing the old adhesive residue and used the 3M adhesive remover made specifically for this purpose. Anyway, the new one is on, looks great.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • useless features

Great quality, easy install

Worked great. My stupid brother thought someone overturned the truck and that's why the lock didn't work. A search on You Tube revealed that the bracket was broken. When I removed the cover the clips broke at the bottom which is to be expected given the age of the machine. I was afraid the replacement would break as well. But well done, no problems. Can't wash up, but good enough.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Something different

Identical to bezel OEM

One of the links in the tailgate on my 2001 Chevy Silverado recently broke when the plastic clip connecting the link to the latch broke. Unfortunately, the latch frame on my truck broke when I tried to reattach it because the plastic got a bit brittle in my early 20's. The new one I bought from T1A fits perfectly, looks and works just as good as the OEM bezel. highlighted.

Great for spare parts

The texture of this unit is slightly different from the original part, but you won't notice anything unless they are next to each other. Has foam pieces with glue on both sides. Installs in seconds and looks like a factory. The foam pieces will push the piece out of the case about 1/8 inch or so. I never looked at the original up close before it broke, so I can't say it differs from the original in that regard, but it looks like the original. Cheap and easy repair!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Works great - 2000 GMC Sierra 1500

My old bezel fell off somewhere on the road. There was still half a pound of silicone in the hole that the previous owner had used as a band aid to hold the old frame in place. I scraped off the old silicone and put in this $6 bezel. Works perfect. Very easy installation, just insert the bottom pins first and then push the top one and you will insert it into the hole. Do it this way and you won't break any tabs. Remember to remove the protective film from the two foam tabs before installation…

Cheap but cheaply made

This is my third in many years. "Easy to install" only if you follow the instructions. The tabs at the top are brittle. If you try to install other than the recommended install (bottom tabs first), those tabs are guaranteed to BREAK! The adhesive pads are too thick and at best leave a small gap on one side or the other. However, for less than $6, it's not a deal breaker, "sort of". I would pay more for one with a spring loaded "easy on and off". The likelihood of this happening is negligible…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
