Handles fit well and work properly. My issue was with the door bar clips that come with the product. One of them slipped out of the doorknob while the bar was being installed. I had to run to the auto parts store and buy a new set. I would recommend keeping the ones already installed if you can. If you don't buy extra set when ordering pens.

That's right. Toyota Tacoma grips are a poor detail. The brand doesn't matter. They may last a few years or a few months, but eventually they all break down, especially in the cold. It is what it is. Oh my god! I learned a lot about car doors when I installed them. It took me and my friend a few hours but with the help of google and youtube we managed. I have zero experience with anything like that. The hardest part was removing the window handle from the door. I had to go to O'Reilly and buy a small tool to loosen the clamp, after that it was easy. I was very proud of myself when the job was completed and now the doors work great!

There's nothing worse than not being able to open a door, or one side working and the other not. Okay, not the end of the world for the kid from Tacoma. I went to a Toyota dealer to get a replacement along with some clamps and a main rod when the guy said it was a $700 magic wand to get the parts I used ALL my adult words. I just installed them on a friend's truck. The fit was perfect. Ease of installation. Everything lined up. No complaints at all. Take your time and see how the locking bars stick and you won't have a problem. The bad reviews seem to come from people who don't know what they are doing. Overall quality is OEM. Didn't see the difference. I would recommend them and will use this manufacturer again if I need door handles again. Thank you for a great product at a more than fair price!

I ordered these for my 1999 Taoma grips because mine eventually broke. I could tell right away that they were cheap, but I gave them a try. Second time ordering aftermarket grips, I have a 2001 Tacoma, they fit perfectly and are fairly easy to install.
