Very accurate in testing, measuring and verifying

I put it in a toaster oven that I use to harden knife steel. It works very well and I haven't had any problems. Easy to install and relatively easy to set up. 5 Stars.

Cheap device with a low price.

Here you get what you pay for. It works, but if you don't know what you're doing, you're probably going to have a hard time. The instructions are difficult to follow. It has a setpoint limit of 1200f (which wasn't listed in the description). It will show thermocouple readings above that value, but you can't set it to a higher temperature.

Great price for these features!

Great little device for basic temperature control. I used it for temperature and I think it will draw 4-20mA as well. I haven't tested this yet. I tested the K and J thermocouples (make sure the correct type is selected) and a 3-wire RTD. Everything is working well. The menu structure is MUCH easier to access and navigate than many other compact controllers. Highly recommended!

Customer support is non-existent.

I buy a lot of these, around 40-50 a year. And they've always worked fine, but I've had one where the thermocouple connections didn't work. I have exchanged it for another one that works fine but one out of the box is broken and as I buy them in bulk I often don't use them all at once and now my return period has expired and there is no way to fix that Contacting companies ( Best Rich) and they have no return policy which is listed here on Revain which I think is crap. I will not buy from this…

Garbage. Do not buy. on temperature controllers

I installed two type K thermocouples next to each other. You control the PID. The other goes to a new digital handheld thermometer with a new calibration certificate. There is nothing I can do to make the PID match the thermocouple value. The PID function is worse than turning it off. The temperature behavior of a PID controller is not stable, so the offset setting often needs to be adjusted and then readjusted, but it never stays the same with a thermocouple meter and the difference increases…

Bought for a powder coating oven I built. I think it might work fine except for the fact that they can't tag them properly. I bought the controller to be used with a solid state relay, but after playing around with it for a month and noticing that there is no voltage at the output of the solid state relay, I have to assume that either this is defective or the version for intended for use with a mechanical relay. Product works as described in terms of functionality. The problem I had was that the temperature dropped over time regardless of the type of temperature sensor used. According to temperature measurements, it lost about 2°-5° every hour. This caused the water to overheat, which it had to support. Instead of a water temperature of 150°, the water temperature rose to 165° after 3 hours and continued to rise. But the apparatus said that the water is stable at 150°. After lots of testing and…
