I ordered this for our dog's first hike. I like it more than the ones you stick in the ground because you can easily move it around and tie it in different places if needed. This rope was perfect: it kept both dogs at our campsite but allowed them to move independently and the bright color made it easy to see. The bag that comes with the set is very handy for storing things. Recommend!

We use this leash to take our 11# Chihuahua/Terrier mix outside. It's not as easy to tie as our last line. Also, it seems very sturdy and durable. I only gave 4 stars for how easy it is to hold because there's really no way to hold it with the hooks on either end. Our dog tends to disengage quickly and harshly and can easily snatch the leash out of my hand just holding the hook. As a countermeasure, I thread a small piece of line through the hook and form a loop into which I then put my hand.

Perfect for what I need. We play ball every day in the park near our house. It is not fenced and we have a leash requirement. JoJo only weighs 10 pounds and keeps coming back. Animal control and park rangers handed out fines to any dog not on a leash. I bought the handle/hook version instead of two hooks. 50 feet is enough, but I can always put 2 together. Sometimes the grass is a bit wet and there were never any snags. It still looks like new.
