🔪 Taidea T1051D Folding Diamond Knife Sharpener - Double-Sided 360/600 Grit Sharpening Stone Review

I was oddly excited to get this sharpener and it worked great initially but after sharpening a few knives the diamond coating on both sides started to wear off quite a bit. I love sharpening pocket knives and this is a great idea, just wish it lasted longer.

Sharpens even your budget kitchen knife set. Easy to use, even if it doesn't meet the highest standards. I love that my knives are sharp, I was very satisfied. I bought an extra device and gave it to my father-in-law. Little did he know his collection could get so fancy.

This sharpener is a great size for a wide range of blades from small folding knives to large fixed blades, even ax blades and machetes in a pinch. light and compact enough to fold up to take anywhere, but not as expensive as some other brands, so if it gets lost or damaged it won't be a problem. I will probably buy another day if the price falls again.

This is basically a cheap Chinese copy of DMT Coarse/Fine Diafold. Looking at the photo with the arrows I thought it would be larger than the DMT, but these are small hands and the diamond plates in them are slightly smaller than the DMT plates in both dimensions, by about 1/4 inch. shorter and slightly narrower. The panels on it are 3 7/8" x 3/4". Unfortunately, the handles are thicker, which doesn't help, making it difficult to pack without benefit. When folded it is 4 7/8" x 1 1/8" x 5/8"…
