Review on 🔪 Taidea T1051D Folding Diamond Knife Sharpener - Double-Sided 360/600 Grit Sharpening Stone by Joshua Reid

This is basically a cheap Chinese copy of DMT Coarse/Fine Diafold. Looking at the photo with the arrows I thought it would be larger than the DMT, but these are small hands and the diamond plates in them are slightly smaller than the DMT plates in both dimensions, by about 1/4 inch. shorter and slightly narrower. The panels on it are 3 7/8" x 3/4". Unfortunately, the handles are thicker, which doesn't help, making it difficult to pack without benefit. When folded it is 4 7/8" x 1 1/8" x 5/8", the latter size being significantly larger than the 3/8" DMT which fits much better in my Maxpedition Pocket Organizer. However, diamond blades are good with fairly even particles, so there should be no ridges on the blade as cheap diamond sharpeners sometimes do. It's an acceptable half-price alternative. It will probably go to one of my young nephews and DMT will keep its place. in my kit.
