As advertised. High quality and very easy installation. Highly recommend as it appears to be a better component than the OEM that was originally there. It looks like Mopar changed that part for the better.

The part worked on the first three lock tests. then permanently blocked. The motor could be heard checking the rod connectors. but not released. I had to put a camera in with a hook to open it. obviously not good quality. Missed the window to come back.

This jeep tailgate bliss works great. Be sure to watch this product's removal and installation video. It's very easy if you follow the video instructions, especially for removing the metal wires. Much cheaper than dealer or Mopar and works great. 5 Stars.

Jeep Wrangler 2014 the new tailgate lock did not open, it is a hex screw for adjustment so that the locking mechanism works properly after adjustment, this screw works well, you must put a note in the box to explain this, this part was my second replacement, thought the first part was faulty

MOPAR shop couldn't find an original for me - Blame it on COVID. This costs a third of the price. THAT IS NOT THE SAME. It will dangle straight up. Worked 3 cycles open-close. Then he froze in the closed position. Returned for another. Worked 5 cycles of opening and closing. The problem wasn't related to how I installed it or some build settings. I ended up begging the dealer to sell me an OEM unit and it works great. I think I just accidentally got two bad ones, but it was a huge waste of time
