Direct, easy fitment (installed in 5 minutes with a small screwdriver) at around 1/6 the price of an original BMW. The trunk lid of my 9-year-old projector now goes up and stays where it should be.

The plastic on the ends is so weak that when you open the trunk you force the threaded rods right out of the ends. If you don't catch it, you could damage your car when you try to close the trunk. Complete garbage.

They perfectly fit for BMW 328i 2007 but do not raise the trunk lid much. My previous shocks didn't do that either, so I figured the new ones could, but they don't. I find the trunk lid too heavy. However, about halfway through, these shocks hold the decklid in place, while my previous shocks allowed the decklid to come down.

I installed them on my 2008 BMW 335i. Good price. It hasn't improved on my 12 year old storage shelves. When the trunk lid goes up, it lacks cushioning and shakes the lid hard a few times before falling off like cheap struts, making my car feel cheap. I want to bring back the 12 year old OEM racks.
