I ordered 6 of these for an air cylinder to open the back door of my dump truck and 3 of these kept leaking, I had to throw them out and order new ones. But the ones that worked worked well

I used this to control the air piston for a can crusher I made. Smooth running and no leaks. I removed the panel opposite the button and found that it was already drilled under the spring. I was able to just insert the spring and now it works like a snap switch. Now I don't have to pull the switch back for it to retract the stem.

Like that, but previously applied Teflon pipe impregnation looks like cement. I got 1 engagement thread before I became uncomfortable applying more torque. I soaked dope in acetone for an hour and it softened. Hit it with a small flathead screwdriver to peel off the first layer and let soak for another hour. The rest was removed with a brass brush. I used regular teflon tape and got regular thread engagement. Pressure relief fittings have severe fitting size limitations. I see them running at…
