Great product! Precise fine chalk lines, quick feedback and durability. I will buy another one in blue for blue chalk. This is the only chalk line I will use in the field.

The gears are chalk baked and stopped working and the locking mechanism began to lock itself making it difficult to lower the line. The line didn't hold the chalk well. I live in Utah and it's not humid here and the line has never gotten wet. Today mostly garbage.

Best all-purpose chalk line. I like the ultra thin ones they make. But this one stands up to everyday use much better. Good clean line, easy to twist in and out. I just bought a second one, the first lasted a good four years and more before the gears started acting weird.

? What can I say about a product that does everything it's supposed to do? Strong, clear fishing line won't tangle or break. The body is cast (aluminum?) - light but strong enough to withstand multiple jumps from the roof. The winding mechanism has never let me down. The only reason I've ever replaced it is because I lost it. I highly recommend this product.
